Are you passionate about trucks and technology? ICTS is expanding and looking for skilled mechanics to help shape the future of the Truck & Car Carriers operations in Gent. Work in a dynamic, international environment alongside a team of experienced professionals.
Your tasks:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on multi-brand trucks and trailers.
Repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems, incl. lighting, wiring, sensors, control units, ABS/EBS, CAN-bus systems, and other safety systems.
Conduct pre-MOT checks and assist with MOT preparation.
Identify required spare parts and communicate needs clearly to the parts department.
Complete job cards accurately, detailing diagnostics performed, parts used, and labour time.
Ensure all work is performed safely and according to manufacturer and company standards.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the workshop.
Your profile:
Proven experience as a Truck & Trailer Technician or Technician with a strong electrical focus.
Solid understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
Proficient with diagnostic software, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
Language skills: a good understanding of English and/or Dutch (additional languages are and advantage).
